Dr. Goldberg and AMA – Ready to Rumble

After attending the very informative UCAOA (Urgent Care Association of America) Spring Convention held in Orlando, Dr. Goldberg and his team at Access Medical Associates are ready to implement several of the technological breakthroughs and clinical advancements that were showcased at the meeting.  Several of those that our patients will clearly benefit from include:

  • Chartlet – enabling more efficient patient care and shorter wait times.  This enhanced functionality from our industry-standard EMR provider, Practice Velocity, will allow one-screen documentation for 80% of all patient visits, thus enabling the physician to more efficiently document a full patient encounter.  This, in turn, will reduce patient wait times.
  • 3bExams – an electronic total-exam solution for our DOT Certified Medical Examiners, which provides increased accuracy and automatic reporting of results to the FMCSA Driver Database.  This capability heightens operational efficiencies across the occupational medicine segment of our practice.

Bridgewater Township Strive for Five 5k Run

The Bridgewater Township Strive for Five 5k Run was held on Sunday April 27, 2014 at the Duke Island Park, and Access Medical Associates was a proud sponsor of the event.  In attendance were our Medical Director, Dr. Lon Goldberg, Mindy Goldberg, Jill Hoblitzell, Amy Lara Lowrey and Sherri Wasko.  Proceeds from the race will be utilized by Bridgewater Baseball to send 12-year-old players to Cooperstown, New York, where they will compete against other youth baseball teams from across the country.  Congratulations to all the runners for competing in the 5k run.  There was plenty of fun, and everyone enjoyed the beautiful spring morning.
