Many of you have come to know our Physician Assistant, Kelly Dahler, over the past 6 years. Kelly has been an integral part of our practice. She will be leaving AMA to travel extensively, and see places she has always dreamed of going. We wish her well on her journeys, both professional and personal. She will be missed by many.

Bethany Nystrand-Ibanez, MSN, FNP-BC, is a Family Nurse Practitioner, as well as a Certified Emergency Nurse, with more than 10 years of experience in nursing. For the past 7 years, she has been Charge Nurse in the Emergency Department at Jersey City Medical Center, where she was awarded the Exemplary Professional Practice Award in 2017. Bethany earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Kean University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She completed her Masters of Science in Nursing at Rutgers University. Some of you may remember her, as she did 3 of her clinical rotations at Access Medical Associates during the past 3 years.
AMA also welcomes Elizabeth Drews, M.S. PA-C, a Physician Assistant, with over 25 years of experience. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from the University of Rhode Island, as well as both Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science Degrees in Physician Assistant from Rutgers University/University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, School of Health Related Professions. She received special recognition in Primary Care from the National Commission of
Certification of Physician Assistants.
In addition to performing physical examination, and GYN exams, both Practitioners are trained in suturing, splinting, skin and wound Incision and drainage, as well as numerous other procedures. Elizabeth is also a trained Botox Provider, which will add a new service to our practice.
